What You’ll Do
In this role as the Health, Safety, Environment Intern, you will work on enhancing the status of multiple projects in all facets of Health, Safety and Environment. Other duties will include, but not limited too, assisting in developing managers' awareness and ensure HSE policies and standards are an integral part of line management responsibilities and objectives, providing suggestions and recommendations on corrective actions to situations that arise, and coordinating the HSE training of personnel, including contractors.

Minimum Requirements:

ANALYTICAL SERVICES LAB INTERN

What You’ll Do
Quantitation of fermentation off-gas components by gas chromatography (GC) using a thermal conductivity detector (TCD). You will work with a team about the expected concentration range for the analytes to set the framework for the method development work.

You will work with the BioVeritas fermentation team.
Who You Are
You are someone who wants to become proficient in the operation of the instrument, be responsible for all aspects of method development including column selection and instrument parameters, will run samples from multiple sources, author the laboratory test method, and provide training to laboratory personnel.
Minimum Requirements:

Majoring in Chemistry

Experience writing test methods.

Understand and apply basic method development concepts.

Understand the fundamentals of GC and TCD operation including applicable software.

PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST
Bryan, TX
What You’ll Do
The Procurement Specialist will play a vital role in overseeing the acquisition of essential products and services necessary for our operations. This entails reviewing requisitions and working closely with vendors to obtain crucial information including pricing, availability, and delivery schedules. Selection of products for purchase will be based on thorough testing, observation, or examination of items, with values estimated in accordance with market prices. Additionally, the Procurement Specialist will be responsible for the accurate and efficient preparation of purchase orders or bid requests. They will also be involved in reviewing bid proposals, negotiating contracts within budgetary limitations, and ensuring compliance with established protocols. Furthermore, the Procurement Specialist will assist in additional duties as assigned to contribute to the overall objectives of the procurement department.

Help with the evaluation and implementation of an ERP system, leveraging extensive ERP experience and familiarity with various platforms.

Develop and manage a contractor management program, including qualification, compliance, and documentation processes.

Identify opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency enhancement, and operational improvement through purchasing analysis.

Participate in quality investigations related to defective or unacceptable goods/services and coordinate vendor corrective actions.

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

What You’ll Do
You will be extremely forward-thinking with a professional and approachable demeanor in all interactions; possess outstanding communication skills with all levels of staff, executives, customers, vendors; and good judgment.

Calendar Management: Handle Chief Executive Officers (CEO) and teams’ calendar by prioritizing schedules and meetings. You may decide who gets on the principal’s calendar, which meetings are attended, and who can attend in their place.

Event Speaking Engagement Coordination: Handles a running list of engagements and works closely with communications team to ensure content needs are understood and set in motion so the CEO is prepared for each engagement.

Meeting Planning and organizations: Assists CEO in planning and organizing meetings by being responsible for the assembling of the agenda, location, meeting technology based upon participant needs, and all other meeting logistics. May further prepare meeting briefing documents by taking and disseminating notes and formulating post meeting action item list.

Travel: Responsible for making travel arrangements for the CEO. Carefully considers and decides the optimum travel arrangements and itinerary for calendared meetings.

Special Projects: Provides analytical support to assist executives on special projects. Research issues, analyzes problems, compiles data, and prepares reports.
